Start here if November came too soon
January is the second entry point inside RISM’s published application window, which runs from 1 November to 31 January. It suits candidates who want the decision made and registered first, and the study load started afterwards.
- Still deciding: watch the free technique videos first, then start with a full nine months ahead of you rather than a rushed entry
- Waiting on something real: a job change, a posting, a client commitment or a family matter that would have collided with a November start
- Resitting papers: you may only need repeat-subject support at RM600 per paper — check the resit route before you commit to a full semester
- Employers paying for a professional qualification: a January start lines up with a new calendar-year budget

No countdown timers, no invented urgency
The only real deadlines are RISM’s application window and the number of places a 6:1 support ratio allows. Both are facts you can check — which is why we do not dress them up.
Before you reserve a place
Take the earlier start if you are ready to work now — it puts more distance between enrolment and the paper. Take January if the next few months are already committed, or if you want to watch the free technique videos and study the route before you spend anything.
Enrol per subject rather than for the full semester — RM1,200 per subject — and see how the first few weeks fit around your work. Nothing in the programme requires you to commit to all ten papers up front.
No. Tuition and registration are separate. We will point you towards RISM’s own procedures and deadlines, but your membership and examination registration — and the fees for them — are yours to complete directly with RISM.
RM6,000 is one semester of five subjects. The full ten-subject pathway across two semesters is RM12,000 in total, paid semester by semester. You are never asked for the full pathway up front.
