About the Programme
The RISM Graduate Entry Exam, officially the Graduate Entry Scheme (GES), is an examination pathway administered by the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) that allows graduates to qualify for three professional licenses: Registered Valuer (RV), Registered Estate Agent (REA), and Registered Property Manager (RPM). It consists of 10 subjects across two semesters or student who are academically strong can attempt all 10 subject in one semester (not recommended).
The programme is open to anyone preparing for the RISM GE Exam — including first-time candidates, repeat candidates, real estate negotiators (REN) looking to upgrade, and graduates seeking professional licensure in real estate. However, candidates must possess a tertiary degree with MQA-recognition to apply.
No prior experience is required, but having a background in real estate (such as working as a REN) is an advantage. However, our programme is structured to support non-real estate graduate from fundamental concepts in Semester 1 to Semester 2, emphasising on exam-ready competence. The goal is to pass this professional exam in 1 sitting for most student, who put in their effort.
Passing all 10 GE Exam subjects qualifies you for three professional licenses: Probationary Valuer (PV) → Registered Valuer (RV), Probationary Estate Agent (PEA) → Registered Estate Agent (REA), and Probationary Property Manager (PPM) → Registered Property Manager. Holding all three makes you a uniquely multi-licensed professional in the Malaysian real estate industry.
